Tsavo East & West National Parks
Taita-Taveta, coastal hinterland
- Mid-range
- nature
Kenya’s largest protected area, split into the open red-soil plains of Tsavo East (famous elephants and the Galana River) and the green, spring-fed gorges and Mzima Springs of Tsavo West. The Nairobi–Mombasa SGR line runs straight through it, making Tsavo the easiest big-park stop on a bush-to-beach route.
